The fourth season of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime received important news this Friday. The anime team released a new promotional video, as well as a new visual that anticipates the upcoming events of the second part of the season currently airing in Japan.
New songs for the second part
Among the highlights, singer Daoko will be responsible for the new opening theme titled “TACTIC”. The ending theme will be performed by Azusa Tadokoro with the song “Hymnal”. These songs will accompany the episodes of the second half of the season, which continues to expand the conflicts involving Rimuru Tempest and his allies.
Studio 8-Bit remains in production of the series, while Miho Okasaki returns to the role of Rimuru. The fourth season premiered in April 2026 with five cours, with the first two being broadcast consecutively.

The film also receives an update
In addition to the anime, the franchise confirmed that the Blu-ray of the film That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea will be released in Japan on September 25th. The film hit Japanese theaters in February of this year, further expanding the universe created by Fuse.
