Terminator : Genisys , the film that will kick off the new Terminator franchise, has released its first trailer.
The story revolves around young Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke). Orphaned at age 9 (a Terminator supposedly killed her parents), Connor was raised by an old T800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger), whom she calls "Pops" (a word that serves as both father and grandfather), programmed to protect, not to kill. Raised by a robot, the girl becomes antisocial, understanding little of human emotions.
The premiere takes place on July 2, 2015. Terminator Genisys 2 and 3 will arrive in theaters on May 19, 2017 and June 29, 2018.
