The live-action adaptation of "Terra Formars" by author Yu Sasuga is indeed happening, according to the official website , which today began streaming the first teaser for the film.
The film is an adaptation of the Bugs 2 arc from the first volume of the manga, while the animated series that came out was inspired by the Annex 1 arc, which takes place 20 years after those events.
The premiere is scheduled for Golden Week in April 2016, directed by Takashi Miike and with a screenplay by Kazuki Nakashima (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and Kill La Kill).
