The official website announced the original anime Tetsuryō! meet with Tetsudō Musume , inspired by the characters from the Tetsudō Musume (Railway Girls) franchise. The project already has a teaser visual, a first promotional video, and a confirmed premiere date of 2026.
The story follows four university students passionate about trains — Misaki Sata, Usa Harutachi, Kodama Orihara , and Ushio Yagami . Together, they are part of the railway travel club “Tetsuryō,” exploring a world in which hundreds of Tetsudō Musume girls work in companies and services related to railways.
The anime is a collaboration between TOMYTEC and writer Kisetsu Morita ( Slime Taoshite 300-nen Misuzu Hoshino ( Yuru Camp , Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable! is directing , with scripts by Aya Satsuki ( Too Cute Crisis , Ippon Again! ). Character design will be by Hisanori Hashimoto , who also worked on Yuru Camp Season 3 .

Tetsudō Musume franchise celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Currently, it features 114 official characters , each representing different Japanese railway companies, always wearing real uniforms and work attire.
