The 6 saddest anime ever created

Check it out:

Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai (2011)

Anime - AnoHana

First, let's kick off our list of short anime with this one that's simply heartbreaking. From the beginning of the story, we know the girl is dead, meaning it's irreparable. But as the story progresses, we witness the suffering each character goes through as a result of that incident. This series undoubtedly has one of the saddest endings of all.

Angel Beats! (2010)

Anime - Angel Beats

Angel Beats!: Now, Angel Beats has also left its mark on us since the beginning. Everyone there has suffered greatly in their lives. In fact, their stories are incredibly moving and sad, leaving everyone in tears. The saddest part is that, despite all of them being reincarnated, unfortunately, none of them know each other or remember their past.

Orange (2016)

Anime - Orange

Orange: Here we see Orange, another work that touched everyone's hearts. Consequently, we must emphasize that even though the boy is saved in the end, we all know that the other parallel world that sent the letters will have to live with the boy's loss. In other words, in the end, they didn't even know that they managed to save Naruse, unfortunately.

Shigatsu Wa Kimi no Uso (2016)

Anime - Shigatsu Wa Kimi no Uso

Shigatsu Wa Kimi No Uso: On the other hand, opening our list of longest works, we have this one that left its mark on everyone! Furthermore, the protagonist's overcoming of obstacles was beautiful and motivating to witness. However, the heroine's death at the end certainly left everyone devastated. In fact, the final scene deserves a special mention, as it was perfect!

Katanagatari (2010)

Anime - Katanagatari

Katanagatari: Now, I highly recommend everyone watch this show. Even though each episode is 50 minutes long and the plot is a bit slow, the ending is phenomenal! It definitely took me by surprise, and that last scene was touching from beginning to end. I'll avoid any spoilers, so please go watch it now.

Little Busters! (2012)

Anime - Little Busters

Finally, we have another work that surprised everyone over time. It also has a very slow-paced narrative, but as it progresses and the truth emerges, it becomes simply magnificent. The season 2 finale is sure to bring tears to any adult's eyes, and just remembering it makes me emotional.

Finally, did we miss any anime that you find sad and admire? Leave your comment!
