The animated short film “If I Am Born Now” , directed by Asuka Domi , has had its trailer and main visual revealed. The work is part of the GEMNIBUS vol.2 , which will be shown in Japanese cinemas in a limited run starting March 6, 2026 , at TOHO Cinemas Hibiya in Tokyo.

The film transforms the ten months of gestation into a grand symbolic journey. The narrative follows twin brothers who awaken in a mysterious world and set out to find their mother, who carries a profound sadness in the real world. Meanwhile, the story explores themes such as birth, loss, and the meaning of existence.

In the trailer, a planet reminiscent of the maternal womb emerges as the central setting. Furthermore, striking phrases reinforce the emotional tone of the work, highlighting the children's unity in the face of an uncertain future. The promotional image, on the other hand, shows the protagonist touching a warm light amidst the darkness, suggesting hope.
