Oshi no Ko has garnered a large audience worldwide, including in Brazil, even though HIDIVE doesn't make the anime available here. Obviously, its main audience is Japan itself, but, according to Gem Standard , the majority of its audience is composed of more women than men.

The Japanese website Gem Standard created a poll, separated by gender and age, based on its respondents, to find out which anime are currently the most watched. Oshi no Ko ranked among the top of the list, currently having more female viewers than male viewers.
A large portion of its audience in Japan consists of people in their 20s, with 6% being female and 4% male. Furthermore, Oshi no Ko ranked 3rd among the most-watched anime, behind Detective Conan in second place and Demon Slayer in first.
Synopsis:
The story follows a doctor named Gorou , a fan of a 16-year-old idol Ai Hoshin . One day, Hoshino appears at his office, claiming to be pregnant with twins, but her manager tells her to abort the babies. However, the idol refuses to abort; she wants to have both children. Gorou promises her a safe delivery. Little does he know that an encounter with a mysterious figure will result in his premature death, or so he thought. However, upon opening his eyes in the arms of his beloved idol, Gorou discovers he has been reborn as Aquamarine Hoshino, 's newborn son ! With his world turned upside down, Gorou soon discovers that the world of showbiz is full of controversies, where talent doesn't always bring success.
Therefore, Akasaka and Yokoyari started the manga in Shueisha 's Young Jump in 2020. Volume 12 of the manga was published on March 17, 2023 in Japan.
