original anime Crunchyroll EX-ARM, inspired by the manga of the same name by author HiRock and illustrated by Shinya Komi, premieres in January 2021.
EX-ARM was previously scheduled to premiere in September (autumn) 2020, but was postponed due to Covid-19.
Synopsis
The story focuses on high school student Akira Natsume. Her brain is salvaged after a traffic accident, becoming part of an advanced weapon. Akira cooperates with a division called EX-ARM, which serves to recover lost memories and bodies.

Furthermore, HiRock and Komi launched the manga in Shueisha in February 2015 as a remake of their previous manga EX-VITA.
Finally, Komi launched the spinoff EX-ARM Another Code, a manga adaptation of Ataro Kumo's EX-ARM novel, in Ultra Jump 's Shueisha on February 19.
