The anime Ganglion , based on the manga by Hisaya Shiraiwa and illustrated by Takashi Itsuki, has had its premiere confirmed for October 3, 2025. The animation will be handled by studio maf , with direction by Ayumu Watanabe , known for his work on Witch Hat Atelier and Akane Banashi .

The story follows Kenji Isobe , an employee of the mysterious Ganglion company, also known as Belve . The group's goal is nothing less than world conquest. However, Kenji's unusual routine puts him in direct conflict with unlikely enemies, including the hero Hopeman , determined to uphold justice and thwart the organization's plans.

The original manga was serialized by Yoshimoto Books in the magazine Comic Yoshimoto in 2007 and later collected into a single volume by Wani Books in April 2009. Even with only one volume, the work garnered enough attention to now receive an anime adaptation, betting on a mix of humor and action.

What can we expect from the Ganglion animation?

With a plot that satirizes villains and heroes, Ganglion promises to attract fans of quirky comedies in the anime universe. Therefore, the production is already generating curiosity due to Watanabe's style, which combines light humor with a dynamic pace. Furthermore, its October premiere places the series in a season full of highly anticipated releases.
