Kadokawa released the first teaser for the anime Ms. Isshiki Wants to Know About Love (Isshiki-san wa Koi wo Shiritai), an adaptation of the romance manga by Ayune Araragi. The video confirmed the series' protagonists, as well as its scheduled premiere in January 2027 on Japanese TV.

The character Isshiki Rinna Milford will be played by Riko Akechi, while Shūichirō Umeda will voice Detective Meishi Rokutanda. The plot follows a prodigy policewoman who joined the force at age 17 but has never experienced true romance.
Beside her is Rokutanda, a clumsy and inefficient investigator. Despite their opposite personalities, the two end up creating a curious relationship while trying to understand how love works for the first time.
The anime will be directed by Kazuya Komai, known for his work on BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad and Pita-Ten. The main script will be supervised by Deko Akao, screenwriter of Komi Can't Communicate and Noragami.
Furthermore, the Sakura Create studio is handling the animation, while the composer MICHIRU will be responsible for the soundtrack. The original manga began its publication in the Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine in June 2020 and already has nine volumes released by Kadokawa.
