The cooking anime The Forsaken Saintess and Her Foodie Roadtrip in Another World ( Suterare Seijo no Isekai Gohan Tabi ) has released its first teaser, confirming its premiere on Japanese TV in July. The animated series is an adaptation of Yoneori e's light novel and offers a lighthearted approach, mixing isekai with cooking and travel .

The production revealed new names on the team. Hiroto Morishita serves as sound director, while Kana Utatane composes the soundtrack. Music production is handled by Lantis, reinforcing the attention to detail in the series' atmosphere.

Directed by Atsushi Nigorikawa EMT Squared studio , the anime features scripts by Takashi Aoshima. The original work began as a web novel in 2019 on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website. Subsequently, Kadokawa published the light novel version with illustrations by Akane Nitou.

Synopsis

The story follows Rin Takanashi, an adult woman passionate about camping and tabletop RPGs. She is summoned as a saint to another world alongside a student, but is ultimately discarded by the prince after her skills are deemed useless.

Furthermore, the story was adapted into a manga by Nana Kogami on ComicWalker in 2020. Currently, the novel has six published volumes, solidifying its place among fantasy titles focused on everyday life and cooking.
