The technical team of the anime “ The Banished Former Hero Lives as He Pleases” (Dekisokonai to Yobareta Moto Eiyu wa, Jikka Kara Tsuihosareta node Suki Katte ni Ikiru Koto ni Shita) released a new teaser for it this Thursday (30).

The anime will premiere in 2024. Shōta Aoi voices the protagonist Allen.
Synopsis
The story centers on a world where powerful "blessings and gifts from the gods" are bestowed upon those who reach adulthood, and the "gifts" a person receives will determine their future. However, Allen was unable to obtain any power, thus being ridiculed and despised, and eventually exiled from his home. He decides to live a life of peace in a remote land. But what people don't know is that Allen possesses memories (and powers) of his past life as a hero.
Kazuomi Koga (TenPuru) is directing the anime at DEEN and Marvy Jack Studios. Rintarou Ikeda (Insomniacs After School, The Seven Deadly Sins: Imperial Wrath of the Gods) is in charge of the series scripts, while Yoshiki Ōkusa (Hakyū Hōshin Engi, Farewell, My Dear Cramer) is writing the scripts. Saori Hosoda (Phantom of the Idol) is in charge of character designs.
Finally, Shin Kouduki launched the light novel series on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in January 2018.
