Hello, my name is Bruna and I'm passionate about the world of anime and manga. I hope to contribute to the AnimeNew website.

Despite high expectations, The Beginning After the End (TBATE) failed to deliver the expected impact in its first season. The animation received criticism for its quality, which frustrated fans and inevitably drew comparisons to Solo Leveling.

The Beginning After the End season 2 confirmed

Despite the criticism, a second season has already been announced. In fact, it comprises the second cour of the original season, which will have 24 episodes in total — the first 12 have already aired. Even so, expectations are high for improvements, especially after the positive reception of the final episodes of the first part.

Studios A-Cat now has more time until 2026 to fine-tune technical details. While radical changes are unlikely, fans see potential for considerable advancements if the creative team truly takes the negative feedback into account.

Where does the story continue after the anime?

The anime covered up to chapter 29 of the novel, the middle of volume 2, corresponding to episode 82 on the Tapas platform. The webtoon, however, was adapted up to chapter 56. However, since the anime skipped many sections, we recommend starting from the beginning—especially for those who want to catch all the details that the animated adaptation omitted.

Release date and expectations

The second part of TBATE will only arrive in 2026, and the organizers are expected to reveal more news during Anime Expo 2025.Until then, the public remains in anticipation regarding the visual and narrative evolution of the series.
