Today, August 8th, is Father's Day! So, to celebrate this special day together, we've selected some of the Best Anime to honor all dads! Now, without further ado, let's check out some guys who stood out for their thoughtfulness and love for their children.
Best Anime Dads

Maes Hughes: Now, let's start our list with this great dad. He's a soldier completely devoted to his country and especially devoted to his family. Well, the great Maes demonstrates his love for his daughter and wife every chance he gets! Honestly, he's an admirable man, and you probably cried rivers of tears when he left.
Edward Newgate: And who says a father has to be your blood? Here we see the great Whitebeard who never sought treasure or fame on his journey. But what he really wanted was a family! In fact, he's got a very large one, where he treats each member of his crew like a son. Furthermore, he'll face anyone to protect them, as we saw in the anime!
Tomoya Okazaki: On the other hand, who doesn't remember Clannad? There, we follow the difficult love story and the hardships life throws at us. However, seeing Okazaki grow from a rebellious teenager to a true family man was sensational. And the ending is simply perfect.
Igneel: Finally, a father doesn't have to be blood, much less human! The Fire Dragon clearly demonstrates this by raising Natsu with all the love and affection in the world. He's certainly another great example of a father to follow!
Conclusion
Well, folks, that was our very special Father's Day list! By the way, it's worth mentioning that there are countless anime dads who are true role models, but we decided to stick with just these four guys. Besides, if you're already a dad, I hope you're as good as them. And if you're not yet, take inspiration from some of them to raise your children.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed it, and if you have any criticisms or suggestions, leave them in the comments! Finally, if you haven't given your dad a hug yet, hurry up, there's still time. Have a wonderful Father's Day, everyone, and see you next time!
