First, the survey focused on gathering data on how much anime Japanese high school students watch. From left to right, it's divided as follows:

  • Almost Every Day
  • Between 4 and 5 Days Per Week
  • Between 2 and 3 Days Per Week
  • Once a Week
  • 2 to 3 times a month
  • Once a Month or Less
  • I don't watch anime

Furthermore, we can see that the survey was divided between boys and girls. In other words, we can get an idea that the industry there is influenced by both genders. Not to mention that the researchers identified a higher attendance rate among young people just starting high school, while those about to graduate watch less.
