How about checking out a list of the best anime for young Japanese people? This is based on research conducted by LINE Research with high school students in Japan. The Best Anime for Young Japanese People – Frequency

First, the research focused on gathering data on how much anime Japanese high school students watch. Therefore, from left to right, it is divided as follows:
- Almost Every Day
- Between 4 and 5 days a week
- Between 2 and 3 days per week
- Once a Week
- 2 to 3 times a month
- Once a Month or Less
- I don't watch anime
Furthermore, we can observe that the research was divided between boys and girls. In other words, we can get an idea that the industry there is influenced by both sexes. Not to mention that the researchers identified a higher attendance rate among young people who are starting high school, while those who are about to graduate watch less.

On the other hand, the research also revealed the anime that are most popular among these young people, and again, across both genders. Therefore, the list is as follows, from top to bottom:

Finally, we can see that several anime appear repeatedly on both lists. However, what is most striking is that Demon Slayer topped both lists! Furthermore, recent hits like Jujutsu, Slime, and Tokyo are also making an appearance.
