The story follows two boys who compete to become the famous Wizard King, the strongest magic knight in the Clover . Even without magic, Asta tries to become a magic knight, and his journey begins when he obtains the mysterious "anti-magic" power, which can nullify all magic.

The anime Black Clover premiered in Japan in October 2017. The series ultimately concluded with 170 episodes in 2021.
