The adaptation of Neko to Ryu (The Cat and the Dragon), a fantasy work based on light novel , has revealed its first visual focused on the connection between the characters. The plot shows the daily life of a dragon raised by cats in a world full of magic and unusual bonds.

Studio OLM has confirmed the premiere for July 2026, with guaranteed broadcast on TOKYO MX and BS NTV. Furthermore, the production will feature the experienced Kikuko Inoue voicing Mama-nyan, adding even more weight to the voice cast.

Fans can expect a narrative in anthology format that explores friendships between humans and mystical creatures. Meanwhile, the official website released a new promotional video focused on the maternal relationship between the dragon and the forest felines.
