The anime The Classroom of a Black Cat and a Witch (Kuroneko to Majo no Kyōshitsu) has revealed a new promotional video for its second part, also bringing news about the cast and soundtrack. The production adapts the manga by Yosuke Kaneda, an author known for Boarding School Juliet.

The main novelty is the brand new opening theme titled ∞Rettō-Sei (Infinitely Inferior Star), performed by singer Akari Nanawo. The song will be used in the second cour of the series, which continues its uninterrupted broadcast during the current season.

Synopsis

The story follows Spica Virgo, a young aspiring witch unable to use magic. Determined to attend her dream school, she encounters a mysterious talking black cat named Claude Sirius. While Spica seeks to master witchcraft, Claude tries to break an ancient curse, leading the two to form a secret pact.

The anime is produced by LIDEN FILMS studio , directed by Naoyuki Tatsuwa . The scripts are by Midori Goto, and the character designs are by Takayuki Onoda. The series premiered on April 12th and will run continuously for two cours. Currently, the anime is available simultaneously on the Crunchyroll platform .
