Aniplex announced that Jun Maeda and Nagi Yanagi are collaborating on the opening and ending theme songs for the anime The Day I Became a God (Kamisama ni Natta Hi).
A new promotional video has been released featuring Yanagi discussing the opening theme song "Kimi to Iu Shinwa," and the video shows her singing the song in question.
Furthermore, The Day I Became a God will grace the cover of Monthly Newtype, which will be released on September 10th. Aniplex has hinted that the magazine will therefore include an article revealing some behind-the-scenes stories about the anime's production.
