Aniplex , the production company behind the Naruto films, will bring Boruto: Naruto the Movie to Blu-Ray and DVD in Japan on July 6, 2016. There will be a regular edition, which only includes Boruto, but there will also be a limited edition that includes the film, a soundtrack CD, Digipak illustrated by Tetsuya Nishio , the film's character designer, a special booklet and new anime special!
The special will be an adaptation of the one-shot, The Day Naruto Became Hokage , created by Masashi Kishimoto , showing the ceremony, the events that happen before and after it.
