The official website for the anime “The Elusive Samurai” (Nigejōzu no Wakagimi) has revealed a promotional video and image for the character Shizuku, voiced by Hinaki Yano.

The anime will premiere in 2024, and will feature new voice actress Asaki Yuikawa as Hojo Tokiyuki and Yūichi Nakamura as Suwa Yorishige.

Synopsis
After his family's massacre by the traitorous Ashikaga Takauji, Tokiyuki flees with the help of a handful of loyal servants who also survived the purge. One of them is Suwa Yorishige, an ally of the Hojo clan and lord of Suwa Province. The peculiar Yorishige also claims to be clairvoyant and predicts that Tokiyuki will one day become the ruler of Japan. But for now, escaping enemy territory is the priority!
Yusei Matsui (Majin Tantei Nōgami Neuro, Assassination Classroom) launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in January 2021, and work is ongoing.
