The second season of the anime The Elusive Samurai (Nige Jouzu no Wakagimi) has had a new promotional video and visual officially revealed. The series adapts the manga by Yusei Matsui and returns to Japanese TV in 2026, expanding on the story by Tokiyuki Hojo .

Before the premiere, the first season will be rebroadcast in April 2026 on Fuji TV 's Noitamina . New episodes will then arrive in July, continuing to air in the same time slot. Crunchyroll remains responsible for international distribution.
The anime is produced by CloverWorks , known for recent notable titles. Yuta Yamazaki continues as director, while Yasushi Nishiya remains in charge of character design.

The first season premiered in July 2024, with simulcast on Crunchyroll, including a dubbed version. Additionally, the soundtrack featured the opening theme "Plan A" by DISH// and the ending theme "Kamakura STYLE" by Botchi Boromaru.
