The film The First Slam Dunk has received official confirmation that it will debut in Brazilian cinemas. So the new anime film will arrive here in Brazil with Portuguese dubbing on August 3rd.

The First Slam Dunk premiered in Japan in December 2022, but the film began distribution to other countries later. Now the film will also be destroyed here in Brazil by Cinecolor. Furthermore, some Brazilian cinemas have already started pre-selling tickets for the film. The film was directed and scripted by Takehiko Inoue , the creator of the manga Slam Dunk , and was produced by Toei Animation .
Synopsis:
Slam Dunk tells the story of Hanamichi Sakuragi, a high school student and delinquent in love with the delicate Haruko Akagi, who introduces him to the world of basketball. Thus, the clumsy character begins to get involved in sport with the intention of being part of his school's basketball team just to attract Akagi's attention. However, Sakuragi awakens a genuine passion for basketball when he feels the adrenaline of the game alongside his captain Takenori Akagi, his rival Rukawa Kaede and the rest of the team.
