The Game Awards 2024 Announces Award Nominees

The nominees for The Game Awards 2024 , one of the biggest awards shows in the video game industry, have been revealed. Among the highlights are Team Asobi's Astro Bot Final Fantasy VII Rebirth , which each received seven nominations, including the top category, Game of the Year.

The full list features 96 names, including games, developers, and teams. Additionally, titles such as Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree (FromSoftware), Black Myth: Wukong (Game Science), Balatro (LocalThunk), and Metaphor: ReFantazio (Studio Zero) were nominated.

Top nominees at The Game Awards 2024

Sony Interactive Entertainment leads the publishers with 16 nominations, followed by Square Enix and Xbox with 12 each, while Sega has 11. Voting is open on the official website until December 11th, with dedicated channels for China, such as Bilibili and WeChat.

The ceremony will take place on December 12th and will be broadcast globally on platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok. The event will feature performances by The Game Awards Orchestra and exclusive release announcements.
