We have a new trailer for the movie The House of the Lost on the Cape ( Misaki no Mayoiga ). According to the official website , the animation will be released in Japanese theaters on August 27th

Therefore, the animation is by studio David Production (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Cells at Work!), directed by Shinya Kawatsura (Non Non Biyori).
Synopsis:
The story takes place in a traditional Japanese house called "Mayoiga" (a name derived from the Japanese folklore concept of an abandoned but well-preserved house) from where one can see the sea and feel a touch of nostalgic warmth.
Finally, the light novel Misaki no Mayoiga was published in 2015 and won the Noma Children's Literature Prize the following year.
