We have a new trailer for the film The Imaginary , featuring the theme song "Nothing's Impossible," performed by A Great Big World and sung by Rachel Platten. The film will be released in theaters in Japan on December 15th and "around the world" in 2024.

Therefore, the direction is by Yoshiyuki Momose , production by Yoshiaki Nishimura and animation by the studio Ponoc (Meari to Majo no Han).

The Imaginary

Synopsis:

Rudger is Amanda Shuffleup's imaginary friend. No one else can see Rudger—until the evil Mr. Bunting arrives at Amanda's door. Mr. Bunting hunts imaginary people. They even say he eats them. And now he's found Rudger. Soon, Rudger is alone, running through his imaginary life. He must find Amanda before Mr. Bunting catches him—and before Amanda forgets him and he disappears into nothingness. But how can an unreal boy be alone in the real world?

Finally, it's worth remembering that the studio postponed the film's release last year from its original summer 2022 release date due to "new challenges" arising from the film's production methods and the pandemic.

Furthermore, the film is based on the novel “The Imaginary” by AF Harrold.
