The publisher Earth Star Novel announced this Thursday (2) on Twitter that Nabeshiki's light novel, Ore wa Subete wo “Parry” suru: Gyaku Kanchigai no Sekai Saikyou wa Boukensha ni Naritai, will receive an anime adaptation. The news came accompanied by the release of an announcement trailer that displays illustrations by the light novel's artist, Kawaguchi.

The light novel Ore wa Subete wo “Parry” suru (roughly translated as: I Stop Everything: What Do You Mean by I'm the Strongest? I'm Not Even an Adventurer Yet!) is written by Nabeshiki and illustrated by Kawaguchi. Furthermore, for those unfamiliar with the title, "parry" refers to the movement of blocking or dodging an attack, a term popularized in souls-like games such as Dark Souls and Elden Ring.
