The official website for the 3rd season of the anime “ The Irregular at Magic High School ” ( Mahouka Koukou No Rettousei ) released the series' premiere date. Plus a new commercial.

Therefore Jimmy Stone, animation director and episode director of previous projects in the franchise, is the director of the new anime at studio 8-Bit . Taku Iwasaki (Black Butler, Bungo Stray Dogs, Gurren Lagann) returns as the music composer.
The first season of the anime premiered in April 2014 and had 26 episodes. However, a second season, titled “Visitor Arc”, premiered on October 3rd and had 13 episodes. The franchise released the film “Mahouka Koukou No Rettousei The Movie: The Girl Who Summons the Stars” in Japan in June 2017.
