We can finally start 2016 on the right foot, after rumors it was in fact confirmed that the fighting game The King of Fighters will get its anime adaptation. The news arrived of the new SNK Playmore, the company's CEO “Yutaka Noguchi” said in an interview with Famitsu magazine that he would like to be based on the Marvel universe for The King of Fighters franchise, apparently it was not just to attract attention.
In the first quarter of 2016, an anime will be released in Chinese territory, later arriving in the Japanese and American markets. A Live Action series from the franchise is also expected, with no set release date yet.
Remembering that the franchise inspired 4 episodes titled The King of Fighters: Another Day arriving in 2005 and 2006.
