Warner Bros. Brazil has released the official trailer for the anime The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim . The film adapts the story from Tolkien's books, set 200 years before the events of the film trilogy.

In the story, we are introduced to the protagonist Hèra (voiced by Gaia Wise), who didn't even have a name in the original story.
Synopsis of The War of the Rohirrim:
“The story of The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim tells the tale of the fate of House Helm Hammerhand , the legendary King of Rohan. But a sudden attack by Wulf , a cunning and ruthless Dunlending lord seeking revenge for his father's death, forces Helm and his people to make a final, daring stand at the ancient fortress of Hornburg – a powerful stronghold that would later be known as Helm's Deep. Finding themselves in an increasingly desperate situation, Hera, Helm's daughter, must find the strength to lead the resistance against a deadly enemy determined to destroy them completely.”
Finally, directed by Kenji Kamiyama and produced by Joseph Chou (Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045). Furthermore, the film premieres in theaters on December 13, 2024.
