Koichiro Hoshino launched the manga in Akita Shoten's monthly magazine 'Shōnen Champion' in August 2021.
The manga is based on the smartphone game 'Hachigatsu no Cinderella Nine', and is a completely new story centered on a rookie high school baseball player named 'Asu Suzumura'.
In the game, players assemble team members (there are over 50 characters in the game) and experience the team members' stories. Players also train team members to improve their skills and take them to games to compete.
The work inspired an anime adaptation that premiered in Japan in July 2019.
