The manga Mononogatari by the author Oniguansou’s has been announced for an anime adaptation , according to information revealed in the December issue of Ultra Jump magazine.

Synopsis:
The manga centers around tsukumogami, spirits that inhabit ancient objects. The protagonist, Hyōma Kunato, despises tsukumogami after one of them takes something important from him. He travels to Kyoto and ends up living with Botan Nagatsuki, a girl who adores tsukumogami and lives with them.
Oniguansō launched the manga in Shueisha's Miracle Jump magazine in April 2014, and the manga moved to Ultra Jump in January 2016. Shueisha will publish the manga's 13th compiled book on Friday.
Finally, Mononogatari is also listed on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ website.
