The manga adaptation of My Dress-Up Darling has surpassed 5 million copies sold

Sales success is evident since the premiere of the anime My Dress-Up Darling (Sono Bisque Doll). According to reports, the manga has surpassed 5 million copies in circulation.

The sales boost was due to the anime's premiere in January. As a result, the series already has 8 published volumes.

Synopsis:

Traumatized by a childhood incident with a friend who resented his love for traditional dolls, the hopeful dollmaker Wakana Gojou spends his days as a loner, finding solace in his school's club room. To Wakana, people like the beautiful Marin Kitagawa, a modern girl who is practically always surrounded by friends, are like aliens from another world.

Finally, the anime premiered in early January and was a huge success worldwide. The manga was launched in Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine in January 2018. Square Enix published the eighth volume of the manga in October 2021 and will publish the ninth volume on March 25.
