The official Twitter account for the anime “The Misfit of Demon King Academy” announced that the second “cour” (quarter) of the second season will premiere in 2024.

The new season is being shown in “split cours”, with the first premiering on January 7th. Episodes 7 and onward of the anime were delayed due to the impact of the rise in COVID-19 infections on its production schedule.
Synopsis
When Anoth is reincarnated in hopes of a more peaceful life, he ends up going to school with his descendants in his ancient castle 2,000 years later. But with magic disappearing in this age, no one can gauge Anoth's true power!

Rock band Lenny Code Fiction then performs the opening theme song “SEIEN”, while singer-songwriter Momossumomosu performs the ending theme song “Esoa”.
Finally, the direction is by Shin Onuma Silver Link studio (Dusk maiden of Amnesia) with character designer by Kazuyuki Yamayoshi .
