It has been confirmed that the anime adaptation of Mushikago no Cagaster will be released exclusively on Netflix on February 6th. The manga by author Kachou Hashimoto is being animated by studio GONZO , and directed by Kouichi Chigira .
The anime takes place in the distant future, where a disease called "Cagaster," which transforms humans into insects, plagues the population. The story follows the adventures of young Kidou as he battles these insects.
