With a story of revenge and bloodshed, the animation follows a former member of a ninja clan who is haunted by the brutal murders of his family. Meanwhile, an FBI agent and his rookie partner also work to investigate the crimes and uncover an unprecedented global conspiracy.

Synopsis:

Joe Higan is a former ninja and fugitive living in rural America with his family, hiding from his bloody past. However, a team of assassins from his old organization finds him and demands blood retribution for betraying their former code. Now, Joe is resurrected from his apparent "death" with his old assassin name, known as Ninja Kamui, to avenge his family and friends. Kamui is a 21st-century ninja and a dark being who uses his ancient and brutal skills against high-tech weaponry. Thus, he begins a battle against trained assassins, combat cyborgs, and rival ninjas to exterminate the clan that raised him.

The series is directed by Sunghoo Park ('God of High School', 'Jujutsu Kaisen'), and produced by E&H Production ('MONSTERS 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation') and SOLA ENTERTAINMENT ('Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim', 'Blade Runner: Black Lotus').

Finally, episodes of the anime Ninja Kamui will also be available on the HBO Max streaming platform, starting February 11th.
