The story follows Akashi Kuroe , a student who suffers from an unusual condition. Whenever her emotions become intense, parts of her body transform into kaiju-like features. Because of this, she lives in isolation and believes she will never be accepted. However, everything changes when she gets close to Minami Arata , the most popular boy in school. Meanwhile, her feelings spiral out of control and the phenomenon evolves into a complete transformation.
