The first day of the “Kadokawa Light Novel Expo 2020” event revealed that the anime The Rising of the Shield Hero will premiere in October. Furthermore, Crunchyroll confirmed that it will stream the anime starting in October under the title “The Rising of the Shield Hero 2”.

Crunchyroll announced in 2019 that The Rising of the Shield Hero would have a second and, in the future, a third season.
