The official website for the anime Uchuu Senkan Yamato (Space Battleship Yamato) has announced a new sequel film for the series. Titled Space Battleship 2205: A New Journey , the film is scheduled to begin screenings in the fall season of next year.
It was also revealed that Shoji Nazaki will be the executive producer of the film, and Harutoshi Fukui will direct the script.
