The Tale of the Outcasts – 2nd Promotional Video Revealed

The official website for the anime adaptation of Makoto Hoshino The Tale of the Outcasts ( Nokemono-tachi no Yoru ) revealed on Thursday the second promotional video, additional cast members, and a premiere date of January 8th.

The video reveals and showcases the opening theme song “Ashita no Katachi,” performed by the voice actress for the protagonist Wisteria , Ayana Taketatsu , and the ending theme song “Rewrite,” sung by Hakubi .

The newly announced cast includes:

  • Yuuki Ono as Luther
  • Shunsuke Takeuchi as Dantalion
  • Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Citri

The main voice actors for the anime are:

  • Wisteria (Voice actor: Ayana Taketatsu)
  • Marbas (Voice actor: Katsuyuki Konishi)

Synopsis

This is the story of Wisteria, an orphaned girl lost in darkness, and Marbas, an immortal being who shares her loneliness. The unlikely companions met on a quiet, uneventful night and set out together in search of the light. What begins as a chance encounter on the edge of the British Empire at the end of the 19th century soon becomes a full-fledged journey to find their place in the world.

The Tale of the Outcasts will premiere on Tokyo MX starting January 8th. It will then air on YTV and BS Fuji.
