TMS Entertainment announced that Hulu has acquired the rights to the anime Undead Unluck , meaning the anime will premiere on the streaming service in October.

Furthermore, TMS Entertainment revealed that the franchise will feature an interaction in Hulu's Entertainment Hall during Anime Expo 2023 this weekend. This is in addition to the planned separate anime panel at the convention on Sunday, with voice actors Natsuki Hanae (Shen) and Moe Kahara (Fuuko Izumo), Undead Unluck manga editor Takumi Hashimoto, and producer Ryōta Hasegawa as guests.
The film is directed by Yuki Yase at David Production (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure). Hideyuki Morioka is designing the characters.
Synopsis
Undead Unluck follows the story of Fuko Izumo, also known as the cursed woman of "bad luck." Fuko brings bad luck to anyone who touches her. The curse is so strong that it causes permanent damage to anyone who comes into contact with her for too long. One day, she is saved by Andy, a man who cannot die and is considered a true "zombie." He hopes to find a way to use Fuko's bad luck to finally die. The pair team up to complete the missions given to them by the Book of Revelations. However, if they fail, the book could exterminate all of humanity.
Finally, Undead Unluck is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoshifumi Tozuka. Furthermore, it was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine from January 2020, with its chapters collected into twelve tankōbon volumes as of July 2022.
