During the “10th Anniversary Memorial Overlap Bunko All-Star Assemble Special” event, a promotional video for the anime “The Unwanted Undead Adventurer” (Nozomanu Fushi no Bōkensha) was released.
The video announces the artists of the theme songs and the anime's premiere for January 2024.

The video features the opening theme song “Immortal” by DJ/music artist/music producer JUVENILE. Mao Abe is performing the ending theme song, the title of which will be revealed later.

Synopsis
The protagonist is, therefore, a bronze-class adventurer, who lives in Malt, located on the border of the Kingdom of Yaran. By bad luck, he meets a powerful monster inside the labyrinth, and ends up being devoured. When he regains consciousness he realizes that he has become a “Skeleton”. Unable to speak and unable to return to the city due to his current condition, he then remembers the existence of existential evolution, which is nothing more than the fact that monsters can evolve into other forms by defeating opponents. With the aim of gaining a body with flesh, as well as bones, he will begin his epic journey, eliminating everything in sight...
Finally, The Unwanted Undead Adventurer was published in Shōsetsuka ni Narō in 2016. A manga adaptation by Haiji Nakasone began publication in November 2017 where its 9th volume will be released on April 25, 2022.
