The anime The Vermilion Mask ( Shiro no Kamen ) has released its first teaser, along with a new visual and confirmation of its premiere in October 2026. The adaptation of the manga by Dr. Poro and Nabana Naba will be shown in two consecutive cours.

The series will be directed by Tetsuaki Watanabe , known for his work on Blue Lock . The animation will be handled by 100Studio, with Gai Hazako as assistant director.
In addition, Daisuke Ohigashi is supervising the series composition, while Hisashi Higashijima is in charge of character design. The soundtrack will be composed by Arisa Okehazama , known for The Apothecary Diaries .
Synopsis of The Vermilion Mask
The story follows Peru, an apprentice mask maker who loses control after using a cursed mask. The incident results in the death of his master and allies. Consumed by guilt, he embarks on a journey to destroy dangerous artifacts created in the past.
The Vermilion Mask is an action and fantasy manga published since 2021 in the magazine Young King Ours , by the publisher Shonen Gahosha . However, the work already has eight compiled volumes released as of July 2025.
