Following the announcement of the animated films nominated for the 2014 Oscars, it's time for the Golden Globe Awards, which will feature the acclaimed and final film by director Hayao Miyazaki, The Wind Rises. The film is one of 58 films shortlisted for the Golden Globe Award in the Best Foreign Language Film category. Besides being Hayao Miyazaki's last work at Studio Ghibli, there's also the fact that his name enjoys great prestige abroad. Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, and others are proof of his international success.
