Through a Japanese forum, Japanese otaku participated in a survey to vote on the most disappointing anime endings. As a result, many people came together to create a list of the anime that ended in the worst way.
Eventually, when talking about bad anime endings, the first names that come to mind for otaku are Bleach, Naruto , and Attack on Titan. However, the Japanese have anime with much worse endings on their list. A large portion of the titles they highlight are older animations from the 90s, 80s, and 70s. Therefore, it seems that classic anime have been more disappointing than current anime.

Therefore, the anime listed in the survey rank as the worst for different reasons. Although the work delivers a good and exciting story along the way, a bad ending can be what most influences the audience's opinion. This can be seen even in the most popular anime, which are heavily criticized after delivering a bad ending.
