Through a statement on the official website today (19), the film Yuri!!! on Ice: Ice Adolescence was definitively cancelled by its production. Therefore, the animation was being produced by the studio MAPPA (Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan).

In the image above, the film's production team apologized for the cancellation of Yuri!!! on Ice: Ice Adolescence.
Therefore, in November 2020, through social media, the team made a statement about the progress of the production, informing about the adaptation of the project with the aim of enriching its production, without giving a possible release date.
Finally, the Yuri!!! on Ice: Ice Adolescence movie was announced in 2017. Two years later, its postponement was announced in September 2019, with the reason given at the time being to increase the content more than originally planned.
