We have a new promotional image for the anime Tokyo 24th Ward ( Tokyo Twenty Fourth Ward ). According to the official website , the series arrives on January 5th with a 1-hour special.

Naokatsu Tsuda is directing the anime, Vio Shimokura is writing and supervising the series scripts. FiFS is designing the characters, while Takahiro Kishida is adapting those designs for animation. Hideyuki Fukasawa is composing the music.
Synopsis:
Tokyo 24-ku takes place on an artificial island floating in Tokyo Bay, called “Kyokutō Hōreigai Tokubetsu Chiku” (Outlaw Far East Special District), nicknamed the “24th District.” The manga centers on three childhood friends born and raised on the island: Ran, Koki, and Shuta. At a memorial ceremony a year after the incident, the three meet again, and all their phones start ringing at the same time. The call is from a friend they thought was dead, urging them to “choose their future.” Each boy will believe in his own way of doing things.
