The original manga story takes place in Tokyo, which is haunted by mysterious Ghouls who are devouring humans. People are gripped by fear of these creatures whose identity is a mystery. A university student named Kaneki meets Rize, a girl who loves to read, at the diner he frequents. Gradually, he realizes that his destiny will change one night.
The premiere will take place on July 3rd in Japan.
