Author Sui Ishida announced that he is finishing his main work, the Tokyo Ghoul in its 143rd chapter in this year's issue of Weekly 42 Young Jump magazine on September 18. Shueisha will publish volume 14 and the end of the manga on October 17th.
The story revolves around strange murders are happening in the city of Tokyo. Due to liquid evidence at the scene, police concluded that the attacks were the results of a vampire-type “eater.” Kaneki is an 18-year-old young man attending college, passionate about Japanese novels, he and his friend Hide create the theory that vampires are imitating humans, which is why they have never been seen. Bad they know that this theory could be true... One day, Kaneki meets a girl who also reads Japanese novels, and by coincidence, she also likes her favorite authors. They go on a date, everything was going well until they arrived in a desert place. The girl proves to be actually one of the vampires from the urban legend and tries to transform Kaneki into one of her meals.
Ishida launched the manga in Weekly Young Jump in 2011, currently Shuhei Morita (Kakurenbo) directs the anime adaptation for TV at studio Pierrot.
